What it is: Discover the ultra-pigmented, multi-finish Eye Palette by DIOR, including an eye primer, an eyeshadow, a highlighter and a liner.
What it does: DIOR Backstage Eye Palette is the DIOR makeup artists’ secret weapon to create an array of pro eye looks, from the most natural to the most defined. Inspired by the backstage energy at the runway shows and makeup artist essentials, the DIOR Backstage Eye Palette includes shades that suit all skin tones in buildable matte and iridescent textures for perfect eyes.
Designed to be long-wearing yet richly pigmented, the DIOR Backstage formulas are effortlessly buildable: initially neutral colours may be made bold and intense, depending on the desired colour intensity. Their formulas reveal a second-skin finish.
DIOR Backstage Eye Palettes contain:
- An eye primer that reinforces the eyeshadows’ hold and boosts their colour
- Eight powders for use as eyeshadow or liner: three shimmer shades and three ultra-pigmented matte shades adorn the eyes, complemented by a highlighting hue and a sculpting shadow
The DIOR Backstage Eye Palette is available in 3 universal harmonies: rosy hues with cool undertones, brown neutrals with warm undertones and amber neutrals with coppery warm neutrals.
“In addition to eight shades with different finishes (matte or shimmer), I wanted to add a richly creamy primer. It provides long-lasting hold, but more importantly, it intensifies the effect of the colour that will be applied over it,” explains Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for DIOR Makeup.
Apply with fingers or a brush. Can be used alone or blended together.
How to use:
- 1. Apply the primer to the entire mobile eyelid
- 2. Add colour to the lid with a light shade on the brow arch
- 3. Intensify the eyes by applying a more intense shade along the lash line and to the outside corner of the eye
- 4. Deepen the eyes by applying a darker shade under the eye, then blend
For a natural look:
- 1. Apply a more intense shade to the entire mobile eyelid to open up the eyes, then add a darker shade along the lash line to add definition
- 2. Highlight by applying a lighter shade under the eyebrow arch and to the internal corner to open up the eyes
For a sophisticated look:
- 1. Apply a more intense shade to the entire mobile eyelid to open up the eyes, then add a darker shade along the lash line to add definition
- 2. Blend outwards on the entire mobile eyelid
- 3. Highlight by applying a lighter shade under the eyebrow arch and at the inner corner of the eye to create an even more intense contrast that structures the eyes
